Megan Dingwall Studio

About

Megan Dingwall is a Glasgow based artist, recently graduated from The Glasgow School of Art where she studied Painting and Printmaking.

"My work currently focuses on storytelling through the use of sculpture, photography, and illustration, and explores themes such as narrative, performativity, and femininity. I use dolls in my work to reflect on my own experiences and stories from within the queer community, predominantly referencing club culture and high femme aesthetics. I feel that especially during a time like this they present some sort of retrospective or pre-covid nostalgia"
